Our Hospice House
At Our Hospice House, we created a warm, home-like space where those in their last 30 days of life can find comfort, dignity, and love—at no cost to their families. Because in life’s final moments, everyone deserves to be surrounded by peace and compassion.
– Dr. Jeff Bates, MD

Our Vision & Mission
At Our Hospice House, we believe no one should have to face the end of life alone. Our vision is to create a community home where we come together to care for one another in life’s final days—ensuring that everyone is surrounded by love, dignity, and peace.
Our mission is to provide around-the-clock, family-like care in a warm, compassionate environment where terminally ill residents can live fully until their last breath. Here, every guest is cared for with love, comfort, and grace—completely free of charge.
We embrace the reality that dying is part of living. By fostering open, meaningful conversations about the end of life, we help each other navigate this journey with understanding and courage. Because while death is something we all experience, no one should have to do it alone.
our leaders
Over the last decade, our leaders have been praying for this project. In 2023, gifts from generous donors and non-profit organizations finally allowed this concept of ‘Our Hospice House’ to come to fruition in Central Texas.

Quotes from our caregivers
“Thank you so much for letting me part of this vision. It’s truly been a blessing to be a part of this team. Every time I walks into Our Hospice House, The Lord’s presence is so strong and it’s a great and awesome feeling. This has blessed my life.”
“This has been a blessing to so many in our community. I have been so blessed myself to have been a small part of this amazing group of people and staff. But also, the guest and all of their families have really touched me in a way spiritually.”
“Because of this place, my final chapter in life has a purpose and a meaning which has brought me closer to God. The prayers, the laughter, the sadness and even the tears, have filled my heart. This is truly my final calling.”
“I will be forever grateful for this opportunity to help those in need. To be able to grab the guest hands while comforting them on their final journey on earth. To pray with family members for Jesus to come be with us during their loved one’s transition to their heavenly place. So many spiritual awakenings have happened here and we are able to spread Gods love to those in need.”
